What is the Ozone hole?

The ozone hole is not a hole, it is a specific place in the sky where there is less ozone. Ozone is a type of gas that has three oxygen chemicals. The specific place where there is less ozone is on Antarctica. The ozone hole poses huge problems on the environment in the sky, land, and even sea. The ozone layer is a protective layer against the ultraviolet light and the solar winds that are conducted by the Sun from the Earth. The ozone layer is oversees one of the most important jobs for protecting the Earth from incoming problems from outer space.

What is the Greenhouse effect?

The greenhouse effect happens when harmful          gases go up to the sky, it is right that the gases          go away from the atmosphere by sunrise, but in      the greenhouse effect’s case, the harmful gases      are produced by large amounts, so it does not         go away and stays in the atmosphere for a long       time. It is like a blanket of gases on the Earth. It is known that it can carry huge problems to the sky, land, and sea environment.

What is Climate change?
  •    Climate change is basically the rapid and fast change of the atmosphere’s weather and climate to become even more hotter than usual; abnormal weather. Climate change is caused by the ozone hole and the greenhouse effect. It has effects that are alarming to the sky, sea, and land environments combined.

Causes of the Ozone hole
  • The ozone hole, as we know that it is located on Antarctica. From
the year 1983 to the year 2000, this period is when people wanted to consume the natural resources from the Earth. The burning of natural resources and fossil fuels produced harmful gases such as CFCs, sulfur dioxide, and carbon dioxide. The quick production of factories in that period also produced the same gases. This caused these gases to deplete the ozone layer bit by bit.

Effects of the Ozone hole

  • The ozone hole, as we know, has the job of protecting the Earth from solar winds and ultraviolet light that come from the Sun. With less ozone, the ultraviolet light affects the people that are in the way of the ultraviolet light by making people sick with a type of skin cancer called Melanoma. With the lessening ozone, the Earth is prone to getting a solar wind which could wreck the function of technology such as interfering with satellite communications and the loss of money which results in the downfall of economy.

Causes of the Greenhouse effect

  •
The greenhouse effect is caused by deforestation, which is cutting   down plants that consume carbon dioxide, so when there is less    plants, it means that there is more carbon dioxide,
another cause is the production of landfills, which contribute significantly to the greenhouse effect, as they produce harmful gases such as carbon dioxide. These gases stay in the Earth’s atmosphere for a long time.

Effects of the Greenhouse effect
  • As we know from before, that the greenhouse effect makes the Earth more hotter, so the results of the greenhouse effect is the melting of ice floats on the north and south pole, which would cause the sea level to rise, and this would even cause more problems, such as flooding and the drowning of some small islands. The greenhouse effect could make so much gases on the Earth’s atmosphere that the plants would have problems to receive sufficient sunlight.

Causes of Climate change
  • Deforestation, using non-bio-degradable materials, landfills, production of factories, and the burning of natural resources all apply to become the causes for climate change in an indirect way, but cause a devastating effect.

Effects of Climate change
  • Animals find their usual habitat not suitable, and fail to adapt to it. This results in the extinction of some animals. This is one of the effects of climate change. Water, one of the basics for life is declining because of climate change, resulting in droughts, deaths of poor people. The effects of climate change vary from indirect ways to direct ways.

How to decline their existence?
  • In order to decline the existence of all of these bad things that are harming the inhabitants of the Earth in a correct way, we could use biodegradable materials that decomposers (Fungi and bacteria) could break down and produce useful substances for plants to grow in a good manner and consume the carbon dioxide. We can also introduce electrical appliances like electrical cars to reduce the pumping of gas into the environment by gas-producing cars. That could be a good idea, but it would be very expensive. Injecting powerful laws on those who cut down forests would make people to not cut down forests.

Hypothesis

  •       Due to the current technology, my hypothesis is that these bad     things would go away slowly, because the internet has made     environmentalists produce some strong messages to the people, these strong messages encourage some people to do the right thing and inspire other people to do that too. This would happen because the internet is like our home, where we can share so much things.
